Darby Smart TO DIY FOR Review - June 2014

Hello everyone!

Today I received my first Darby Smart TO DIY FOR kit. This is a monthly subscription service by Darby Smart that will send you "Internet Rehab" aka tools to get yo craft on.

The cost is $19 a month, $47 for 3 months, or $199 for 1 year.

I used a $10 welcome code to purchase my first box, and here it is!

At first glance, I was somewhat confused by what this project could be. I thought to myself-- wind chimes? But then I realized there was only one stone.

A quick visit to their "how to" page revealed that June's project is in fact TWO projects.

Fun!

The supplies in the box are for a t-shirt headband and an agate gold cuff bracelet. I saw an online tutorial for this headband not one week ago and was really excited to try it for myself!

The t-shirt yarn in the box is handmade and sold by this shop on Etsy called MyLoveliestDream. One roll of yarn is $9 so with that alone I got my money's worth in this box! Not to mention a couple of fashionable headbands. :)

The bracelet is really trendy and cool. Not sure if I'll make it for myself or swap it 'cos I'm not really a cuff-wearin' girl! We'll see.

Overall, I really get a kick from boxes like this. Not sure if I'll continue to subscribe on a month-to-month basis, but if I get another promo code in the future I'll opt for the 3 month sub!

What do you think of the TO DIY FOR box? I'd love to know! :)
